Ajai Jain joins Godrej & Boyce as SVP and GC

Ajai Jain has joined Godrej & Boyce as Senior Vice President and General Counsel (GC) earlier this month. Before this, he has worked as country Head Legal and Secretarial at LafargeHolcim India since 2013. He was Vice President Legal and Company Secretary at Siemens, before moving to Lafarge.

Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., a Godrej Group Company was started in 1897 with the manufacture of high quality locks. Presently, they have 15 diverse business divisions offering consumer, office, and industrial products and services of the highest quality to every corner of India and across the globe.

After acquiring his degrees in Law and qualifying Company Secretary from Mumbai University, Jain worked for more than a decade at various companies like Mikado Textile Ind, Universal Cans & Containers Ltd. and Ashok Silk Mills. He also serviced as an in-house lawyer for Monsanto India.

Jain is an aggressive, pro-active and result oriented person professionally & has willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters. He has strong commitment towards transparent and anti-corrupt business practices.

According to Jain, his aim is to contribute to the corporate world through his experience in Indian and multinational companies.
