Jyoti Pawar, former ELP Partner joins Infosys

Jyoti Pawar, Former Economic Laws Practice Partner has now joined Infosys as Deputy General Counsel. Inderpreet Sawhney, who was appointed as Infosys General Counsel in June this year, will be the reporting person for Pawar.

In order to set up her own independent practice, she quit from ELP. Earlier, Pawar had joined ELP from Bharti Airtel – where she was the General Counsel – in 2014, to head the TMT Practice at the firm.

A graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai; Pawar started her career with Mulla & Mulla in 1992 and worked there for nearly nine years, before moving in-house with GE Money as Vice President – Legal & Compliance.

Before joining Bharti Airtel as General Counsel in 2008, she had worked with GE for almost eight years.
