They have been associated with the firm since its inception in 2015
Veritas Legal has inducted its partners Tushar Raut, Kunal Doshi, and Vineet Nalawalla into the firm's Equity Partnership. Along with them, Jhinook Roy and Shubhangi Pathak have been made Partners.
Tushar Raut is a graduate of the Savitribai Phule Pune University. With over 14 years of experience, he is a part of the general corporate and specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital investments. He focuses on pharma, e-commerce, technology, and manufacturing activities.
Kunal Doshi is a 2008 graduate of the Government Law College. With over 14 years of experience, he specializes in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, general corporate advisory, hospitality, and private client matters, his focus lies in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Vineet Nalawalla is a 2008 graduate of the Government Law College. With over 14 years of experience, he heads the real estate department of the firm and also co-heads the private equity in real estate and hotels and hospitality practices.
Shubhangi Pathak is a 2007 law graduate from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, Hyderabad with a BCL degree from Oxford University, UK. She was a partner at Tuli & Co, where she advised on a range of corporate and regulatory matters in the insurance sector. Prior to that she was with Amarchand Mangaldas, in the general corporate practice and advised on a variety of M&A and PE transactions and employment law matters.
Jhinook Roy is a 2013 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune, and leads the ffnance & infrastructure practices at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, she was a counsel at Khaitan & Co. She handles a wide range of matters in the banking and finance arena, representing borrowers, sponsors and lenders across sectors. She also has expertise in advising domestic and international clients on projects and infrastructure matters including acquisitions, project development, project contracting, PPP, regulatory issues, and exits.
