Nominees Released for the 10th Annual Legal Era -Indian Legal Awards 2020-21

In the business of creating opportunities and showcasing the stellar talent of the country, Legal Era is delighted to bring back the most coveted certificate of competence in the Indian legal industry – the Legal Era Indian Legal Awards designed to Recognise Legal Finesse, Innovation, and Accomplishments in the dynamic field of law.

The Awards this year break the set patterns of recognition. Always ahead of the curve, the Legal Era Awards have gone one step further to recognize professional resilience in the extraordinary period of 2020-21 with topical issues such as future-readiness, tech-savviness, ESG governance, and empathy.

The 2020-21 edition is of great importance because the Legal Era team believes it is even more crucial to recognize the winners for 2020-21.

These winners have overcome a host of challenges and turned the disruption to their advantage, despite the professional pressures of an unprecedented global lockdown.

These awards will serve as a hard-earned and well-deserved validation for the efforts put in a challenging year by law firms, in-house departments, banks, accountancy firms, lawyers, and General Counsels in a largely virtual, uncharted environment.

The Legal Era Awards 2020-21 throw the spotlight on the 'Individuals' segment of recognition, as much as body corporates.

Merit alone, however, will not decide the winners. The nominees have also sent in detailed submissions, convincing the jury that they deserve the award in their category. The independent jury comprising the most distinguished names in the business will then select a winner after exhaustive research and industry reviews.

With over 684 entries received in all segments so far, the Legal Era editorial team reaffirms as always that every nominee is equal in their eyes – be it well known or relatively unknown names, or international nominations or domestic ones.

The awards stand out in a crowded legal awards market due to Legal Era's unflinching approach to ensuring success for talent coming from all quarters.

The independent Jury will select the final winners that will be announced at the event on 17th April 2021.
