$50m ADB investment in solar power company Avaada Energy acted upon by ILP, AZB

According to its press release, “The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed an agreement to invest $50 million in Avaada Energy Private Limited (AEPL) to help the company rapidly scale up photovoltaic solar energy generation capacity in India.” A team of partners Gopika Pant and Vineet Gupta, senior associate Abhimanyu Kaul and associate Ira Swain of Indian Law Partners (ILP) advised Avaada Energy.Asian Development Bank (ADB) was acted for by AZB & Partners Delhi.
