Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised NaBFID on INR 7,500 Crore Rupee Facility to APCRDA

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as lender’s legal counsel to the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) in connection with the extension of a rupee facility aggregating to INR 7,500 crore to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA), India.

The facility is intended to support the development and growth of Zones 4, 9, and 12 within the Amaravati Capital City region, where APCRDA is implementing large-scale infrastructure projects. The financial assistance is expected to significantly accelerate the development of Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

The transaction from the borrower’s side was led by Deepak R. Rai (Head Legal, APCRDA).

The NaBFID team was led by Sharad Agarwal (Head – Lending and Project Finance), with support from Dinesh Kadam (Vice President – Lending & Project Finance), Rajesh MK (Head Legal), and Gaurav Singh (Senior Analyst – Lending & Project Finance).
