Khaitan & Co advised Indorama Ventures on acquisition of majority control of EPL Limited

The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co advised Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited on the acquisition of majority control of Blackstone-owned EPL Limited through the amalgamation of Indorama’s offshore packaging business with EPL India. The transaction resulted in an estimated valuation of USD 2 billion for the combined entity.

The deal involved a complex cross-border group restructuring followed by amalgamation with an Indian listed company. Khaitan & Co advised on structuring the overall transaction and assisted in drafting and negotiating the definitive agreements.
