The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co advised and assisted Jalaram Hotels Private Limited on the affiliation of Balaram Palace Resort, Palanpur, with the WelcomHeritage brand, a joint venture between ITC Hotels Private Limited and Jodhana Heritage Resorts Private Limited, India. The transaction involved hospitality documentation and negotiations in relation to branding and operational alignment of the heritage property.

Balaram Palace Resort, located amidst the Aravalli Hills within the Balaram Ambaji Reserve Forest, is a heritage hotel that was originally the hunting retreat of the Lohani Nawabs of Palanpur and continues to preserve its royal Nawabi character.
