The leading law firm in India, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM), acted as legal counsel to a consortium of lenders led by Standard Chartered Bank in connection with the provision of senior secured project financing of INR 2,623.20 crores to Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited for the development of a dedicated renewable energy transmission project in Madhya Pradesh.

The lending consortium comprised Standard Chartered Bank (as Lead Arranger), YES Bank Limited, ICICI Bank Limited, Union Bank of India, and Punjab National Bank.

The SAM team was led by Anurag Dwivedi (Partner). The transaction team included Shashwat Bhaskar (Senior Associate) and Sanidhya Parashar (Associate). The due diligence team was led by Subhojit Das (Principal Associate), with support from Shashwat Bhaskar (Senior Associate), Sudekshana Venkatesan (Associate), and Agrima Aron (Associate).
