The leading legal consulting firms in India, VERTICES PARTNERS advised Marico Limited on its acquisition of a majority stake in Cosmix Wellness Private Limited for a consideration of INR 225 crores (approximately USD 24.8 million). As part of the transaction, Marico Limited has acquired an initial 60% stake in Cosmix Wellness Private Limited, with the remaining 40% to be acquired over the next three years, reflecting a long-term strategic association between the parties.
The acquisition underscores Marico Limited’s expansion into the growing wellness and nutrition market, with a focus on scaling Cosmix Wellness Private Limited’s brand through its strong distribution network, branding capabilities, and consumer insights. The companies aim to build a sustainable and profitable business model in the competitive FMCG landscape.
