Court formalizes settlement, protecting SUPERON trademarks.
The Delhi High Court decrees a trademark dispute in favor of Sanjay Mehra against Jagdish Choudhary, with Justice Saurabh Banerjee issuing the order. Choudhary has acknowledged Mehra's exclusive rights and goodwill in the SUPERON trademarks, recognizing them as well-known in India.
As part of the consent decree, Choudhary has undertaken not to use any identical or similar marks and will not pursue his abandoned trademark application. Furthermore, he has agreed to pay Mehra ₹10,00,000 as liquidated damages in case of any breach of these undertakings.
