Addleshaw Goddard advised J.P. Morgan in its role as financial adviser to DoorDash, Inc. on the proposed acquisition of Deliveroo PLC, announced recently.

The acquisition, which values Deliveroo at approximately £2.9 billion, represents a major strategic move by DoorDash, a San Francisco-based food delivery giant founded in 2013 and currently operating in over 30 countries. Deliveroo, founded in the same year and listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021, runs its food delivery services in nine countries.

Addleshaw Goddard advised J.P. Morgan in relation to the financing of the offer. The team was led by Simon Wood, with support from Vinay Rawal (Corporate Finance), Ewen Scott (Finance), and Paul Denham (Derivatives).
