Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow acted for SGD 20 Million Fund Raising for GetGo Carsharing

Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, a member firm of Baker McKenzie International located in Singapore, has provided advisory services to GetGo Technologies Pte. Ltd. (also known as GetGo Carsharing) regarding the successful fundraising of S$20 million from Treïs Asia Pte Ltd, an investment group.

GetGo Carsharing intends to utilize the strategic investment to expedite the expansion of its electric vehicle fleet, as well as bolster its technology and operational platform.

The advisory team from Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, headed by Principal Sze Shing Tan, oversaw the transaction. Meanwhile, GetGo Carsharing was represented by Alysia See and Ernest Low as part of the advisory team.

GetGo Carsharing is currently the biggest and most rapidly expanding carsharing platform in Singapore, boasting a fleet of over 2,100 cars that cater to more than 50,000 users. Out of these vehicles, 90 are electric cars, and the company has set an ambitious goal of increasing the number of eco-friendly vehicles to 10,000 by 2030.
