Ropes & Gray Advised Taconic Biosciences in Acquisition of TransCure bioServices

Ropes & Gray represented Taconic Biosciences, Inc., a portfolio company of Avista Healthcare Partners, in its acquisition of TransCure bioServices SAS, a provider of preclinical research services utilizing humanized immune system (HIS) mouse models. The transaction was announced on January 20.

Taconic Biosciences is a global provider of genetically engineered rodent models and HIS mice, providing essential tools for immuno-oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and metabolic disease research.

The Ropes & Gray Team was led in New York and Paris by private equity Emmanuel Mimin (Partner) and Bob Rivollier (Partner), with support from private equity Raphaël Durand (Counsel), and Julie Brissy (Associate) and Matthew Kaczor (Associate). This team also included life sciences Lincoln Tsang (Partner).
