Other employees’ allocation would depend on the performance of their business units

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has declared paying 100 percent of the Quarterly Variable Allowance (QVA) to over 70 percent of its workforce for January-March.

It explained that for employees in other grades, the QVA depended on the performance of their respective business units, consistent with the company's policy.

TCS reported a 1.7 percent decline in the March quarter net profit to Rs.12,224 crore, due to margin contraction. It gained a revenue of Rs.64,479 crore in Q4 Financial Year 2025, up 5.3 percent from a year ago.

The company added 625 employees in the quarter.

Recently, Milind Lakkad, the chief human resources officer at TCS, expressed deferring the annual wage hikes to its 6.07 lakh employees due to business uncertainties triggered by the tariff issues. However, no timeline was given for when the company would announce the hikes.
