Abe Abraham
Abe has over 23 years of experience and is a Partner in the Employment Practice of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. He advises and works closely with management and HR teams on issues that arise in the day-to-day functioning of a business in India, retrenchment and downsizing of labour force, strategizing on management of unions and closure of establishments. He also advises Indian as well as international clients on a wide range of cross-border matters including workforce structuring, assisting foreign clients looking to set up operations in India on local labour law matters, advising on secondment arrangements, immigration requirements, social security obligations in relation to expatriates working in India and employees on deputation in foreign jurisdictions, etc.
He has been ranked by the prestigious Chambers & Partners in their Chambers Asia-Pacific Legal Guide 2025. He has also been ranked as ‘Key Lawyer’ for Labour & Employment, APAC 2021- 2023 Legal 500, and selected as one of the top 50 SuperLawyers by ALB for 2022.
