Ajay is a partner at DSK Legal and is recognised and respected for his vast experience on advisory and transactional work pertaining to corporate funding, structured funding and project funding; M&A, resolution of distressed assets. Ajay advises various stakeholders such as lenders (domestic and foreign), corporate debtors on restructuring under informal route (basis RBI circulars) and formal route (scheme approved by court); enforcement of security and insolvency proceeding. Ajay’s advice is sought, for legal and commercial issues pertaining to transactions in the energy and infrastructure projects, particularly in the railway sector. He regularly advises public and private clients in the bidding process for PPP/PFI deals, Consortium Arrangements, Project Equity, Project Debt, asset monetisation, EPC, O&M, Supply and Offtake Contracts.

Ajay is a thought leader in the insolvency and restructuring space and is extensively engaged in discussions with multitude of stakeholders in this regard. Ajay has various publications on diverse subjects to his credit including publications in the Economic Times, Mint, Business Standard, Bloomberg QUINT, Hindu Business Line, Indian Infrastructure, international journals and websites.

Ajay has been lecturing at various fora including University of Pune, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Centre for Civil Society (CCS); Xaviers Institute of Management, Mumbai.

He has obtained his law degree from ILS Law College, University of Pune.
