CAM Partners Kirat Singh Nagra, Rishi Anand, their teams all set to join DSK Legal

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) Partners Kirat Singh Nagra and Rishi Anand are all set to join DSK Legal as Partners.

In addition to Kirat and Rishi, their team members at CAM will also be joining DSK Legal: Kirat’s team members include Associate Partners Kartik Yadav and Pranav Vyas and Senior Associate Neha Sarna; and Rishi’s team members include Principal Associates Nakul Batra and Jitendra Soni and Senior Associate Chirag Jain.

In this regard, DSK’s Managing Partner Anand Desai said, “Kirat, Rishi, and their teams bring significant value to DSK Legal. In November 2018, Kirat and Rishi had resigned from CAM with a notice period of three months. At CAM, Kirat was part of the litigation team, while Rishi was part of the corporate team.

Kirat, an ILS Law College 2002 alumnus, has in-depth experience in a wide range of dispute resolution matters, including arbitrations (international and domestic), commercial/corporate disputes, white-collar crime cases, tax, and regulatory litigation. He appears before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, Tribunals, and Commissions.

Rishi is a corporate and commercial lawyer, having 12 years of experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, joint ventures, general corporate, restructuring and reorganizations, with a particular focus on complex, high-end corporate transactions.

In his role as a Partner in CAM’s General Corporate Practice, Rishi was noted for his skills in navigating the intricacies of complex issues with commercial approach as well as proven ability to efficiently manage deals from start to finish. His deal experience across a number of sectors, including technology, e-commerce, retail, real estate, food, manufacturing, and hospitality, has helped him to offer authoritative and experienced advice to large corporates, private equity funds, and Fortune 500 multi-national corporations on their entry as well as operations in India. Also, he is an assistant professor of law at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, where he teaches a course on mergers and acquisition on an ad hoc basis.

Rishi is a recipient of the ‘Rising Stars Award 2016’ awarded by Legal Era for his merit and outstanding work.
