The leading law firm in India, DSK Legal advised Travel Counsellors, a portfolio company of Vitruvian Partners, on the Indian law aspects of its acquisition of The Travel Agent Next Door (“TTAND”), the leading host travel agency in Canada with over 1,700 travel professionals, from its founders.

Travel Counsellors, the UK's largest and fastest-growing technology platform for travel entrepreneurs, empowers a growing community of over 2,200 independent travel entrepreneurs through its scalable technology platform, supported by an annual investment of nearly £20 million. The acquisition of TTAND will enable both businesses to benefit from greater scale, creating a combined network of over 3,900 professional travel business owners; a more diversified international profile with strong brands in the UK and Canada; and cross-company knowledge sharing. The transaction also supports Travel Counsellors' international growth strategy, expanding its operations to seven global markets.

DSK Legal advised Travel Counsellors on the Indian law aspects of the transaction, including review of transaction documents, advice on applicable regulatory matters, and assistance with limited due diligence. Mayer Brown acted as the lead international counsel for Travel Counsellors, while TTAND was advised by WeirFoulds LLP.
