Temasek, the global investment company headquartered in Singapore, has appointed Aman Dwivedi as Vice President – Legal & Regulatory (India). He joins the firm from Khaitan & Co, where he served as a Partner in the corporate practice.

Prior to transitioning to an in-house role, Dwivedi was associated with Khaitan & Co for nearly a decade. He joined the firm in 2016 as an Associate and steadily progressed through the ranks, being elevated to Partner in 2025. During his tenure, he played a key role in advising on high-profile transactions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital.

A 2016 graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Dwivedi has built a strong reputation in the corporate legal space, particularly in structuring and negotiating complex investment transactions.

Following his appointment at Temasek, Dwivedi shared his excitement about the new role, said,

“I am delighted to be joining Temasek as Vice President, Legal & Regulatory (India). Grateful for an incredible ten years at Khaitan & Co, and for the mentors, colleagues, and clients who shaped my journey. Looking forward to working with the team at Temasek.”

At Temasek, Dwivedi will be responsible for overseeing legal and regulatory matters relating to the firm’s India operations, including investment transactions, compliance, and governance. His extensive experience in private equity and M&A is expected to be instrumental in supporting Temasek’s growing investment footprint in India.

During his long stint at Khaitan & Co, Dwivedi handled a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, advising leading corporates, private equity funds, and venture capital investors. His professional journey at the firm included roles as Associate (2016–2020), Senior Associate (2020–2022), Principal Associate (2022–2025), and Partner (2025–2026).

Dwivedi’s move reflects the increasing trend of senior law firm professionals transitioning to in-house leadership roles at global investment organizations.
