The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co advised Bank of India (“Client”) in connection with the issue of listed, unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible, taxable, fully paid-up long-term infrastructure bonds in the nature of debentures on a private placement basis, with an aggregate value of INR 10,000 crores.
The issuance comprised a base issue size of INR 5,000 crores and a green shoe option to retain oversubscription of up to INR 5,000 crores, in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks – Resource Raising Norms) Directions, 2025, and other applicable regulations and guidelines.
