Khaitan & Co advised Barclays Bank Plc on issuance of NCDs by SMFG India Credit Company Limited

Khaitan & Co, the leading law firm in India, has advised Barclays Bank Plc in relation to its subscription of listed, secured, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) issued by SMFG India Credit Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc.

The base issue of the NCDs was INR 900 crores, with a green shoe option of up to INR 500 crores, issued on a private placement basis.
