Khaitan & Co advised Indian Overseas Bank on the issuance of regulatory capital bonds

The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co advised Indian Overseas Bank on the issuance of unsecured, non-convertible, taxable, listed, fully paid-up, redeemable regulatory capital bonds in the nature of debentures, with a base issue size of INR 500 crore and a green shoe option to retain oversubscription of up to INR 500 crore, aggregating up to INR 1,000 crore, on a private placement basis.

The Issue witnessed strong investor interest and was oversubscribed by 6.52 times of the base issue size. Nuvama Wealth Management Limited, ICICI Bank Ltd., BOB Capital Markets Ltd., and AUM Capital Market Pvt. Ltd., among others, acted as arrangers to the Issue.
