The leading law firm in India, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (“SAM”) acted as legal counsel to Power Finance Corporation Limited in connection with the ₹661.50 crore term loan financing for the development and implementation of a 140 MW wind–solar hybrid power generation project by Bhuj Wind Energy Private Limited (the “Toravi WSH Project”) in Vijayapura District, Karnataka.
The financing supported an integrated wind–solar hybrid facility with a total capacity of 70.2 MW of wind and 70.4 MWAC / 112.64 MWDC of solar capacity. The project is promoted by Continuum Green Energy Limited through its special purpose vehicle, Bhuj Wind Energy Private Limited. The funding facilitates the expansion of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure in India and contributes to the growth of hybrid power projects, enhancing grid stability and accelerating India’s clean energy transition.
