Zea Maize Private Limited is the company behind the premium gourmet popcorn brand ‘4700BC’. The transaction provides for a complete exit for PVR INOX from Zea Maize Private Limited and represents a strategic monetisation of a non-core asset.

The acquisition also marks Marico Limited’s strategic entry and expansion into the premium foods and snacking segment through the addition of a well-recognised and established consumer brand to its portfolio.
