(SAM) acted as legal counsel to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in connection with a long-term Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Sale and Purchase Agreement with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ALNG), a subsidiary of ADNOC Gas.

The agreement, valued at approximately USD 3 billion, involves the supply of LNG to HPCL over a 10-year period and is aimed at strengthening India’s long-term energy security while supporting the country’s growing demand for natural gas.

The transaction represents a significant strategic collaboration between India and the UAE in the energy sector and reinforces HPCL’s commitment to diversifying its energy portfolio and ensuring stable fuel supplies for domestic markets.
