The leading law firm in India, S&R Associates represented Citigroup, the broker, in the INR 32.9 billion sale of 47.57 million equity shares of Hindustan Zinc Limited, the world’s largest integrated zinc producer. Vedanta Limited participated in the transaction in its capacity as a promoter.

The sale was executed through the stock exchange mechanism in accordance with applicable securities laws and regulations.
