Trilegal advised Aurobindo Pharma Group on the acquisition of the branded non-oncology prescription formulations business of KLabs

The leading law firm in India, Trilegal advised Auro Pharma Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, on its acquisition of the branded non-oncology prescription formulation business of Khandelwal Laboratories Private Limited on a slump sale basis.

The acquisition strengthens Aurobindo Pharma Group’s domestic branded formulations platform by adding established brands in the pain management and anti-infective segments, complementing its existing product portfolio and supporting further expansion in the Indian pharmaceutical market.

Trilegal provided end-to-end legal support on the transaction, including conducting legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, and assisting with closing.
