Akin has advised investment firms Energy Equation Partners and Stonepeak in their approximately €2.5 billion acquisition of a majority interest in JET Tankstellen Deutschland GmbH (“JET”) from Phillips 66.
As part of the transaction, Phillips 66 will retain a 35% minority interest in JET. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
