Global law firm Clifford Chance advised the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) on its inaugural native digital bond issuance under Luxembourg Law. The fixed-rate GBP-denominated native digital bond will be recorded on a private permissioned blockchain operated and accessed via the HSBC Orion Platform, and will be admitted to the Securities Official List of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Arnold & Porter acted as US counsel to IADB. The joint lead managers (HSBC and NatWest Markets) were advised by A&O Shearman.
