Eversheds Sutherland Advised Siemens Energy on RWG Acquisition
The Global law firm Eversheds Sutherland has advised Siemens Energy on the exchange of contracts for the acquisition of the remaining 50% interest in RWG (Repair & Overhauls) Limited from joint venture partner John Wood Group PLC, for a cash consideration of $135 million, subject to customary closing adjustments.
RWG is a leading UK-based provider of repair and overhaul services for industrial aero-derivative gas turbines, with a global client base across the oil & gas, power generation, and marine propulsion sectors. The transaction is expected to complete in late 2025 or early 2026, following receipt of regulatory approvals.
The acquisition represents a strategic step for Siemens Energy in consolidating ownership of RWG and aligns with Wood Group’s disposal programme of non-core assets.
Tom Milburn commented:

We’re proud to have supported the deal through exchange and look forward to continuing to advise Siemens Energy through to completion."
This transaction further demonstrates Eversheds Sutherland’s deep sector expertise and continued role advising global clients on high-value M&A in the energy and industrials space.
