Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advised Optus on the transfer of certain Optus Sport assets, including its rights to broadcast the Premier League and FA Cup, to Stan, a subsidiary of Nine Entertainment Co.
As part of the transaction, Stan will take over Optus Sport’s football broadcasting rights and provide Optus Sport customers who remain Optus telecommunications customers with discounted pricing offers and continued access to these key football assets.
