Latham & Watkins advised Brookfield Asset Management on Figure’s US$1 Billion+ Series C financing

Latham & Watkins advised Brookfield Asset Management in connection with Figure’s Series C financing, which raised over US$1 billion at a post-money valuation of US$39 billion. Figure, an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots, will use the funding to accelerate the deployment of its robots into real-world environments at scale. The round was led by Parkway Venture Capital with significant participation from Brookfield Asset Management, NVIDIA, Macquarie Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, Tamarack Global, LG Technology Ventures, Salesforce, T-Mobile Ventures, and Qualcomm Ventures.

The Latham & Watkins team was led by Benjamin Potter (Partner) and Haim Zaltzman (Partner), with support from Eric Znotins (Associate) on Emerging Companies & Growth matters.

The regulatory aspects of the transaction were advised by Paul Rosen (Partner), supported by Asia Cadet (Associate).

The commercial aspects were advised by Andrew Abokhair (Associate).
