Latham & Watkins advised Kyivstar on Nasdaq listing through Cohen Circle SPAC

The global law firm Latham & Watkins LLP advised JSC Kyivstar, Ukraine’s leading digital operator, together with its parent company VEON Ltd., on its business combination with Cohen Circle Acquisition Corp. I, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). The transaction has resulted in Kyivstar becoming a publicly listed company in the United States.

Shares of the newly formed parent company, Kyivstar Group Ltd., commenced trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market on August 15, 2025, under the ticker symbol “KYIV.” This milestone marks Kyivstar as the first pure-play Ukrainian company to be listed on a US stock exchange, underscoring its strong market positioning and global ambitions.
