Norton Rose Fulbright advised China Water Affairs on Taikang Asset’s RMB1.5 billion investment in Silver Dragon Water Affairs

Norton Rose Fulbright advised China Water Affairs Group Limited on an equity investment of RMB1.5 billion (approximately US$207 million) by Taikang Asset into its subsidiary, Silver Dragon Water Affairs.

China Water Affairs, listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is primarily engaged in city water supply, pipeline direct drinking water supply, and environmental protection services across the People’s Republic of China. The investment by Taikang Asset, a wholly owned subsidiary of Taikang Insurance Group and a leading asset management company in China, brings a strategic investor onboard and represents a key milestone for the company’s ongoing growth and expansion. The investment also constitutes a disposal and disclosable transaction under the Hong Kong Listing Rules.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Psyche Tai (Head of Hong Kong), with support from Patrick Wong (Senior Associate).
