Al Tamimi & Company Advised on Sale of American Academy Casablanca to International Schools Partnership

The largest law firm in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Al Tamimi & Company has advised the founders of American Academy Casablanca (AAC) on its sale to International Schools Partnership Limited (ISP).

This M&A transaction highlights Al Tamimi & Company’s ongoing role in supporting education sector transactions across the region.

Founded in the 1990s, American Academy Casablanca is a leading international school in Morocco, educating around 1,000 students from Pre-K to Grade 12. The school delivers a US-based curriculum and is accredited by Cognia and the Moroccan Ministry of Education, offering International Baccalaureate Diploma and Advanced Placement programmes at the high-school level.

With a trilingual student body fluent in French, English, and Arabic, AAC is renowned for its focus on academic excellence, critical thinking, and character development, preparing students for success on the global stage.

This deal marks ISP’s second investment in Morocco, following its acquisition of Charles Péguy in 2024, and expands its global network to over 110 schools across 25 countries.

The Al Tamimi & Company transaction was led by Omar Zizi, Head of Al Tamimi & Company’s Morocco office.
