International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Natural Power, a leading independent renewable energy consultant and service provider, on its acquisition of Munich-based renerco plan consult GmbH from BayWa r.e. AG.
The transaction represents a significant milestone in Natural Power's European growth strategy and strengthens its presence in Germany's renewable energy market, establishing a strong operational base in Germany – Europe's largest renewable energy market – through renerco's strategically located Munich office. The deal strengthens Natural Power's ability to deliver end-to-end consultancy services across the DACH region and beyond, supporting the clean energy transition throughout continental Europe.

renerco plan consult, a BayWa-company based in Munich with roots dating back to 1989, provides technical consulting and planning services across renewables, including solar, wind and grid.
