Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised the lenders in connection with the refinancing and increase of the existing capex facility for Ferngas Group, a group within the Versicherungskammer Group. The lenders include ING Belgium SA/NV, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale, KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH, ING Bank N.V., London Branch as facility agent, Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A. as security agent, and intercreditor agent.
The new credit facilities amount to a total volume of €445 million and are intended for future investments, including in hydrogen infrastructure.
The Ferngas Group operates, as a combined network operator, a gas transmission and distribution network in various regions of Germany.
