DLA Piper advised Keensight Capital on the acquisition of Onventis

DLA Piper has advised Keensight Capital in acquiring Onventis, a major provider of cloud-based procurement solutions for SMEs across the DACH region, Benelux, and Scandinavia, from Main Capital Partners, which had invested in Onventis in 2019.

Keensight Capital is to back Onventis in its growth as an international mid-market SaaS leader, with the full management team remaining on board and investing alongside Keensight.

Onventis, based in Stuttgart, Germany, has been providing cloud-based solutions for the digital transformation of purchasing and finance processes since 2000. Its network comprises over 1,000 companies worldwide, handling an annual procurement volume of over €10 billion with more than 50,000 suppliers.

Keensight Capital is a prominent European growth buyout firm that has been making long-term investments in profitable companies with high growth potential and revenues ranging between €10 million and €400 million for more than 20 years.

DLA Piper's Lars Jessen and Sebastian Decker, partners in Corporate/M&A in Frankfurt and Hamburg, respectively, led the team advising Keensight Capital on the acquisition of Onventis.
