Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP represented the underwriters in connection with an SEC-registered offering by Indiana Michigan Power Company ("I&M") of $650 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.60% Senior Notes, Series Q, due 2056. The transaction closed on February 20, 2026.
I&M is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company ("AEP") and is part of AEP's vertically integrated utilities segment. I&M is organized in Indiana and is engaged in the generation, sale, purchase, transmission and distribution of power to approximately 617,000 retail customers in northern and eastern Indiana and a portion of southwestern Michigan, and supplies and markets electric power at wholesale to other electric utilities, municipalities, rural electric cooperatives and other market participants.
