The Japanese law firm Mori Hamada advised Jefferies Financial Group Inc. on the expansion of its global strategic alliance with Japan’s SMBC Group, which includes the launch of a wholesale Japanese equities joint venture, SMBC Nikko Jefferies Securities Inc.
