Reed Smith LLP advised Rapid Works on acquisition of CRO Software

Global law firm Reed Smith LLP recently represented Rapid Works, a leading software provider for heavy equipment service providers, in its acquisition of CRO Software, an established market leader in waste management and recycling software.

The transaction supports Rapid Works’ long-term strategy of serving all heavy equipment verticals, including solutions for fleet maintenance, operator management, safety and compliance, and customer engagement. CRO, founded in 2013 and now serving more than 300 customers across North America, brings deep expertise in waste management and recycling that broadens Rapid Works’ platform and accelerates growth opportunities.

The deal also provides CRO — which will maintain its product identity and continue under its current leadership — with additional resources to accelerate product development, strengthen operations, and enhance support for its customers. The transaction is supported by investor backing.
