Shruti Singh joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner in New Delhi

Shruti Singh has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a Partner in the general corporate practice in New Delhi. She will advise clients on various aspects of M&A transactions and structured and corporate finance.

Having 13 years of experience, she advises foreign and Indian corporates, entrepreneurs, private equity funds, and other organizations on a range of legal and regulatory issues.

On her appointment, Pallavi Shroff and Akshay Chudasama, the Managing Partners at the Firm remarked, “We are delighted to have Singh join as a Partner at our firm. A graduate of the NALSAR University, Singh holds an LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School, United States. In her diverse career, she has participated in the International Visiting Attorney Program at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP working in the M&A practice. Until recently, she was serving as a consultant with Khaitan & Co in the restructuring and insolvency practice.

Singh has worked on notable deals including Temasek and Advent’s joint structured finance and M&A acquisition of Crompton, Dalmia Cement’s IBC acquisition of Murli Industries, Goldman Sachs, and Varde’s debt restructuring of Rattan India.
