The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, issued an order on November 5 nominating Anand S. Pathak, Managing Partner, P&A Law Offices, as Member of the Competition Law Review Committee.
The order read, “In continuation to this Ministry’s Order of even number dated October 1, 2018, Shri Anand S. Pathak, Managing Partner, P&A Law Offices is hereby nominated as a Member of the said Committee.”
Anand S. Pathak has extensive experience in advising clients on international mergers and acquisitions, privatizations and technology licensing and European and Indian laws on competition and international trade. He has represented clients in complex EU Commission investigations of abuse of dominance, cartels, and mergers and regularly represents clients before the Competition Commission of India and the Indian Competition Appellate Tribunal. He also represents Indian and multinational companies in cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures.
