Trilegal’s Anand Prasad sets up boutique law firm AP & Partners

Trilegal’s ex-founding partner Anand Prasad has set up a boutique law firm AP & Partners with three of his fellow Trilegal partners. Trilegal’s ex-founding partner Anand Prasad has set up a boutique law firm AP & Partners with three of his fellow Trilegal partners. According to Anand, the new firm will essentially be focused on difficult and complex situations. Anand’s partners in his new firm include Moksha Bhat, Sandeep Das and Arjun Sinha. The formal launch of the firm is yet to take place in a few weeks.

He had quit Trilegal in 2017 to pursue independent practice and politics.

At Trilegal, Moksha Bhat had represented strategic and financial investors including private equity investors in negotiating and structuring a wide range of transactions including investments, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Earlier, he has worked in the chambers of senior counsel Abhishek Manu Singhvi where he has assisted Dr. Singhvi and acted as junior counsel in disputes before various Indian courts and tribunals including the Supreme Court.

Sandeep D. Das had worked on various criminal law matters arising from white-collar crimes as well as other corporate - commercial disputes at Trilegal. He later set up Das Law in 2013.

Arjun Sinha who was previously a senior associate in Trilegal was part of the energy, infrastructure and natural resources practice. Arjun is an alumnus of National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. He is a member of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.

Anand is said to focus on the general overview and strategic advice of the new firm, while his co-partners would handle the majority of client work directly.
