Appellant Jurisdiction - Any decision passed by the High Court of any state, subject to certain conditions, can be appealed against in the Supreme Court. This is applicable only if any new fact has arisen or there is a question of law that has been raised.
Advisory Jurisdiction - For any matter of public interest or fact of law, the President of India may seek an opinion from the Supreme Court of India
Are the Supreme Court decisions final?
The decisions which the Supreme Court of India passes, are final. The Supreme Court is also called the Court of Record as per Article 129 of the Constitution of India, as the judgement of the case is taken on record based on testimony and evidence.
