Avendus Capital, a financial services firm has raised $51 million from existing investor Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Co. (KKR) and new investor Gaja Capital, a mid-market focused PE firm.
Avendus Capital has raised nearly Rs. 1,000 crore in the last two years whereas KKR, continues to remain the largest investor and hence the majority shareholder.
KKR and Avendus were led by by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas along with their Partner Reeba Chacko.
DSK Legal acted for Gaja Capital and the team was led by Pritha Jha along with Sanket Jain and Mayank Mehta.
As a part of the Sue Diligence team, there were Sameer Raina, Tanya Singh, Jayesh Kothari and Mayank Mehta.
