AZB advised KKR in the acquisition of equity stakes in the acquisition of BETPL for USD 7 Million
AZB & Partners acted as the legal advisors for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P ("KKR") and investment funds, vehicles and/or entities managed and/or advised by it or its affiliates acquisition of 24% equity stake by Galaxy Investments II Pte. Ltd., a company controlled by investment funds, vehicles and/or entities managed and/or advised by KKR in Bangalore Elevated Tollway Private Limited ("BETPL").
The total consideration amounted to a total consideration of approx. USD 7 Million/ approx. INR 571 Million.
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited, on Behalf of Maytas Investment Trust, affiliates of Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services sold the equity stake in BETPL.
