The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners advised Fortis Healthcare Limited (“FHL”) on the acquisition of People Tree Hospital in Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore (“PTHY”) through a 100% acquisition of TMI Healthcare Private Limited, the entity under which PTHY’s business operations are conducted. The acquisition, undertaken by FHL’s wholly owned subsidiary International Hospital Limited (“IHL”), also included the acquisition of the hospital building, the underlying land, and an adjacent land parcel.
