AZB & Partners Advised Global Infrastructure Partners on Investment in Aditya Birla Renewables Limited
The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners is advising Global Infrastructure Partners (now part of BlackRock) on their investment of up to approximately INR 3,000 crores in Aditya Birla Renewables Limited (ABReN), a subsidiary of Grasim Industries.
The investment will support ABReN’s renewable energy expansion and strengthen its position in India’s growing green energy sector.
The AZB & Partners deal team comprised Senior Partners Ashwath Rau and Atreya Bhattacharya, Senior Associate Vyjayanthi Raghu, and Associate Tansa Shah; with support on projects/regulatory aspects from Partner Aditya Periwal, Senior Associates Shivang Sinha and Yash Chhadva, and Associates Prashant Munshi, Kinjal Bhatt, Parth Goyal, Shubham Damani, Heena Ladji, Shubhalakshmi Bhattacharya, Aditya Bamb, Harsh Gupta, and Articled Clerk Urmi Gautam; on competition law aspects from Senior Partner Bharat V Budholia, Associates Anmol Awasthi, Ashna Mahajan, and Aryaman Kapoor; and on employment law aspects from Partner Nishanth Ravindran, Senior Associate Anushka Pemmaya, and Associate Apurva Vats.
